SNS Clean Hummus


  • 15 oz can garbanzo beans — drained and rinsed 
  • 1/3 cup tahini (or 2 Tbsp peanut butter with 1/8 tsp cumin)
  • ½ lemon, juiced
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1/8 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3-4 Tbsp water
  • Smoked paprika for garnish


  • Combine all ingredients in a food processor or blender (not water or paprika)
  • Process until very smooth, about 1 -2 min
  • Drizzle water (a Tbsp at a time) through the top of processor until smooth, or your favorable consistency

Drizzle with olive oil and a few shakes of smoked paprika. Serve with tortilla chips and sliced veggies. 

Try adding 1-2 jalapeños and a ½ cup of chopped cilantro for a different twist.
