SNS Flank Steak


  • 1-1.5 pound flank steak (*tenderized, if possible)
  • ½ cup soy sauce or gluten-free, low-sodium tamari
  • ¼ cup ketchup 
  • 1 tsp brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp sesame oil
  • Scallions, chopped


  • Combine liquid ingredients and brown sugar in a medium bowl, whisk together
  • Add scallions
  • Place flank steak in a gallon ziplock bag
  • Pour in marinade, lay flat in the refrigerator for at least an hour, flipping once so both sides marinate


  • Grill flank steak to your liking
  • Let rest for 5 -10 min under tinfoil 
  • Slice thinly, against the grain — enjoy!
